Local Pickup and Shipping Terms

These Local Pickup and Shipping Terms apply to all orders placed with ABF Candles ("we", "us", or "our"), an artisan candle-making company based in South Africa. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Order Processing

All candles are handcrafted in small batches. Processing times may therefore vary.

Estimated processing or dispatch times will be communicated at checkout or via order confirmation.

Orders are processed only once full payment has been received.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
2. Local Pickup

Photographic evidence of damage may be required to lodge a claim with the courier.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

We are not liable for delays, loss, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

Re-delivery fees may apply where applicable.
8. Failed Deliveries and Returns to Sender

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful and the parcel is returned to us, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

Refunds (if applicable) will exclude original shipping fees.

International shipping is offered only where explicitly stated.

10. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, courier disruptions, or government restrictions.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Local Pickup and Shipping Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date.
